Vedic Science and Technology
VEDIC SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY: ‘If progress in science is to continue, research has to be in the field of consciousness, the field of pure subjectivity, and the approach has to be subjective or self-referral. My Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme offers that desirable subjective approach to research in the field of consciousness, the field of pure subjectivity, the self-referral Unified Field of Natural Law, whose scope ranges from point to infinity.
‘Infinite is the scope of possibilities for everyone individually, and every nation collectively, through my Vedic Science and Technology, which is the science and technology of the self-interacting dynamics of consciousness—the Science and Technology of the Constitution of the Universe.’
—Maharishi

‘Wake up. Wake up or—surrender to mud!’

‘We have the knowledge. This knowledge is the knowledge of the Almighty—omnipresent, omnipotent. These are not empty words. These are the words of substance. Here is a programme for experience.’
____
‘The light is only for those who don’t want to be remaining in darkness. Those who want to be in darkness, they must remain in darkness and face the consequences of tumbling down everywhere in the darkness. So, you have a choice, you have a choice, because your own Self is the Light of God, which is almighty, which is everywhere, omnipresent.’
____
‘You, yourself, can save you through this knowledge of the Self, knowledge of the Unified Field, self-referral Unified Field, Atma, the Self. That is the Light of God. That is the Light of God. And here is the turnkey operation for you to experience it.’
____
‘The only saviour is one’s own Self within. And Self within is that transcendental field of reality, which is the Light of God.’

‘It’s easy for everyone to realize the Light of God.’
‘The Light of God is the same transcendental which is the field beyond reproach, a field beyond boundaries, a field which sustains itself all the time, everywhere, day and night.’

____
‘He can’t help you out unless you are in His courtyard. His courtyard is within yourself—transcendental reality.’
____
‘Don’t waste your life. Don’t waste your time, because you are the Light of God inside yourself. Make use of yourself for yourself. Don’t waste your life. Don’t waste your life. You are the only hope! You are only hope for yourself; you are the only hope for your family; you are the only hope for your nation and for your world—because inside you are lively in that which is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient.’
____
‘We know mind goes where? Wherever there is a field of charm, happiness, good feeling, and all. Deep within the Self, in the Transcendent, is the ocean of bliss. And that is why by nature, the mind is drawn to it.
‘This is what I have been teaching for fifty years in the world. Transcendental Meditation is a simple, natural procedure for mind to descend down to the field of bliss, the Light of God within. And immediately, people begin to feel better and better, and with practice they feel better and better—by nature, by nature, by nature of the Universe.
‘There is no miracle. There is nothing from outside that comes to make the mind open to its own reality, which is the Atman, which is his Self, Unified Field of Natural Law—by nature, by nature, by nature. There is no miracle; it’s by nature. Transcendental Meditation is a natural procedure which takes the mind to this transcendental Self, and that’s all that transcendental experience is.’
____
‘Knowledge is lively only on the ground of experience. Experience is: knowing by Being. That is one hundred per cent knowing.’

‘Great glory to the Vedic Tradition*, which has been holding the fort of total Natural Law, the Constitution of the Universe.’
____
‘One speaks from the throat, from the total throat; the whole physical mechanism is involved in producing that one syllable, “A”**. This one syllable is the seat of the grand Master. We say: the seat of God—God speaks, the melody of God, bliss.’
____
‘In the Cosmic Constitution—the Constitution of the Universe—the knowledge of the unmanifest and the knowledge of the manifest, both are together, together, together. It is easier to be together in Total Knowledge rather than to be a part of knowledge—either of the relative or of the absolute, either of the changing world or of the non-changing world.’
____
‘The whole Vedic Literature is dedicated to this silent level of Total Knowledge, which breathes Total Knowledge of the outside and Total Knowledge of the inside on the junction point, the meeting point.’
____
‘The Constitution of the Universe is laid out with such precision, and the precision of the sequence is what makes it tangible on the level of the practicality of life.’
____
‘No one man, no one, can comment on the Veda***. It is so enormously total in silence and dynamism both together—silence and dynamism. Only by being it, it expresses itself. From a distance, you can't see it. You have to be it.’
____
‘Total Knowledge means silence and dynamism. The unmanifest is all the field of silence, but that “all the field of silence” is not inertia. It is awake in itself.’
____
‘The commentaries of the Veda that have been made have been made by human beings. What they have done is: they have mutilated the enormous, unlimited comprehension of the field of Total Knowledge, which is silence and dynamism together. It is beyond any human limitation of the field of language.’

‘Vedic Knowledge means Total Knowledge. The Self of everyone is pure intelligence, pure consciousness, and through the procedure of Transcendental Meditation and all those [procedures] which we have been teaching for the last fifty years, everyone can explore one’s own inner Self as the total potential of Natural Law and command events in his life, in his environment, and be the master of his destiny.’

‘The Vedic message of the Vedic Tradition of today is: Through a very simple means, one can raise one’s consciousness to a high level of purity—high level of authority—to the extent one may want.’

‘That field of Science and Technology is not a thing of one time, or one age, or one space. It is eternal, unbounded, beyond the limitations of any time and space. When I am inaugurating this most sumptuous, most complete field of Science and Technology, I am feeling very happy that I am opening the gate of all knowledge and all possibilities to everyone.’
______
‘I am giving a call to the people: Don’t waste your time of life. Don’t waste your children’s time, don’t waste your family time, don’t waste your social time, don’t waste your national time, don’t waste your international time, just don’t waste your time. Get into mastery of this Vedic Science and Technology.
‘The whole programme has been well-tested and proven, and is available in the eternal literature of the supreme Science and Technology; this whole knowledge of total Science and Technology is available in the words of the Veda, and it is available in the gaps between two words of the Veda. This knowledge is available in the expressed words of the Veda, and in the sequence of these words, where there is a gap between two words. So the word and a gap, and a word and a gap, and a word and a gap, and a word and a gap—in sequence, they unfold what is the total value of science; that is a science of total Natural Law.
‘Along with the unfoldment of the knowledge of the sequentially expanding value of Natural Law, the application of it in the sequential evolvement is a very great unified state of Science and Technology. And this practice has been made available to the people through my trained Teachers of Transcendental Meditation and its advanced techniques, including Yogic Flying.’

Footnotes:
* The Vedic Tradition: ‘The Vedic Tradition, upheld in its purity by a long history of custodians, enshrines the supreme knowledge of the integration of life. From time to time, a revival of man’s understanding of the eternal wisdom of this Holy Tradition arises to rescue him from suffering, restoring him to the speedy path of evolution, and awakening him to a meaningful life in fulfilment.
‘The Masters of this Tradition have been exponents of reality from earliest ages. In each new epoch, they have propounded the enduring truths of practical living and have set out those standards by which men’s lives may attain the highest achievements and fulfilment, generation after generation.’
— Maharishi
** Maharishi explains that 'A', the first syllable of the Veda (and of many languages), from which Veda unfolds, contains the entire blueprint of the Veda—the Constitution of the Universe—which is the blueprint of creation, just as a seed contains the blueprint of the tree.
***Veda, Total Knowledge, is the inner reality of everyone’s life. Veda is the totality of Natural Law, and it is the source of all branches of knowledge, of all sciences, of all religions. Vedic Wisdom is independent of time and can never be lost, because it has its holistic basis in the unmanifest transcendental field of life.
