Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Speaks on Unified-Field Based Defence

In a beautiful short talk, Maharishi said that everyone should realize that the day is now the day, no more the darkness of the night. When invincibility dominates in the collective consciousness of the nation, those in the military who like to die for their country will live a long life. The time has come for them to enjoy all that they can aspire for.

Maharishi: ‘Jai Guru Dev. I have no more comments to make except that it is not a choice now for any government, any country, or any man in the military. [They are] destined to be living long life in invincibility, and we are creating invincibility in every country.

‘The people can die for their country, and when they are dying for the country, for whom is the country? Life was lived in ignorance. Now life is coming to be lived in total Natural Law, the Unified Field in modern terminology and from the level of the Constitution of the Universe, which is running the infinite diversity of the universe on the level of invincibility.

‘So the time is over; even if some people want to die for the country, we are creating the effect in their country that they will never die!

‘Come and follow the advice of the great scientist, Dr Hagelin, in modern terms, or use the ancient terms of invincibility—Vedic terminology. The thing is the same. Apple is an apple, whether you say that in English or in French or in whatever language. Even if you speak in different languages the apple is always an apple!

‘Invincibility is going to dominate the characteristic quality of national consciousness of everyone so that even if those who would like to die for the country, they will never be allowed to die. They will live long life. The time has come for them to enjoy all that they can aspire for.

‘It is a beautiful message. It is not a message to be followed by anyone. It is a situation in which everyone is impelled and compelled to live on the level of invincibility. Those days should be over now that you are prepared to die for your nation. You are leading your nation to a higher level of integrity—invincibility—and therefore it will be all positive for you to enjoy.

‘Life is going to be different now. The time of night is over. The dawn is dawning. We can hear our favourite song, “Heaven is descending on the Earth”. That is the message of today, tomorrow, and all time in future. It is beautiful. You are just destined to enjoy.

‘Be your Self. Be your Self. As you are invincible, you are invincible defence. I said the other day our time of speaking is over. Our time of creating that most fortunate level of life for the citizens of every nation has dawned already.

‘Countries are declaring their date of invincibility. Some country says, “In fifteen days I am going to be invincible.” The other country says, “I may take a month more or next week or next week.”

‘Times are different. People should realize that the day is now the day, no more the darkness of the night. And all glory to the field of knowledge and the custodians, the Vedic Tradition, which has promoted the tradition of scientists and the tradition of technology.

‘All glory to Guru Dev*. Jai Guru Dev.'
