Celebration of the Tower of Invincibility
at Maharishi University of Management

In his great fulfilment at the culmination of the global Celebration of Guru Purnima on 29 July 2007, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi spoke to the celebration at Maharishi University of Management (MUM) in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, inaugurating the Maharishi Tower of Invincibility—the first Tower of Invincibility in the world, which had been erected in only six weeks, since Maharishi announced the creation of these Towers of Invincibility in 192 countries around the world.

Maharishi said, 'This voice of the Guru Purnima, the voice of Maharishi University of Management, will manage the world in the most efficient manner, giving to 192 countries in the world the message, the whisper, the clarion call of invincibility.'

Maharishi told Dr John Hagelin that his inauguration of the Tower of Invincibility at MUM is going to be the lighthouse for all the universities in the world, so that they train the young men of their countries to be Master Administrators of their countries. 'This will be the clarion call of your Tower of Invincibility for all the universities in the world,' Maharishi said.

'Generation after generation, the faculty of your University will be instilling enlightenment in every class of the university for all years to come,' said Maharishi. 'You are creating in this Invincible Tower that you are inaugurating today, a lighthouse of Total Knowledge, a lighthouse of enlightenment for every student. I congratulate you and the different faculties that are present there, and the thousands of MUM students that are witnessing you. They will serve to be an inspiration for all time, for all time.'

Maharishi continued, 'Great congratulations to you [for offering] to Guru Dev* this great monument of knowledge on this Guru Purnima day. I feel the university is completely fulfilled, and it will radiate fulfilling knowledge in every generation, and be an example for all universities. You have created an example of how the students in all the schools and universities in the world can uphold the supremely desired influence of invincibility in their countries.

'So your inauguration today is the lighthouse for all the educational institutions in the world. Congratulations to you, and great congratulations to the President of MUM, Dr Bevan Morris, who will express my feelings of your offer to Guru Dev, on this full moon day, this Guru Purnima day.

'This day will always be remembered as a celebration day of the life of the students year after year, not only in MUM but all the world over. Today, on this Guru Purnima Day, the patriots of every country have laid the foundation for invincibility to their nations and all have been offered to the lotus feet of Guru Dev as a Puja [Vedic ceremony of gratitude] to Guru Dev today.

'We have been offering Puja to Guru Dev day after day. Now from today, we are offering the fruit of all Puja to the feet of Guru Dev, and thereby gaining more and more supreme value on its practical level, on the level of the complete Unified Field, self referral Unified Field, which Dr Hagelin has been explaining to all his students. We are so happy that the university is raising a memorial of this dedication to Guru Dev on this full moon day of Guru Purnima.

'We are all fulfilled with your action. And that happened on this day of Guru Purnima. It is the belief in Vedic India that what we offer today is the offering for every day, 365 days of the year, so we have offered all that we can offer to Guru Dev. And what we can offer to Guru Dev, whatever greatest we received from Guru Dev—the light of enlightenment, Total Knowledge, Brahmavidya [the knowledge of Brahm, Totality], we received from Guru Dev, and we are offering that humbly to the feet of Guru Dev.

'As a memorial of this, we are putting [up] the Tower of Invincibility to be an all-time memory. Every Guru Purnima day, all the future generations of MUM will be celebrating this offering—the gift of Total Knowledge, invincibility—to Guru Dev, as a reflection of what he gave us.

'Dr Hagelin, well done, very well done. Dr Morris, very well done. All the faculty of the University, very well done. All the students of this generation, well done. And live long to guide the world. Jai Guru Dev.'
