Opening Remarks

Maharishi: ‘Jai Guru Dev. It is good to know from the world press that the expectation is materializing, even though, from our standards, we would have liked the increase of intensity at every stage. But whatever is happening is satisfactory to us. Day by day, it is like one ray of the sun opening one day, another ray of the sun opening another day. We would have liked the whole galaxy and all number of rays of the sun flooding the world every day, starting from any day that we have in hand now. Nevertheless, with whatever destiny of the world, we are proceeding in a satisfactory manner. Day by day, something good is happening.
 
‘The world is becoming better and better. In the meantime, what I am seeing is that if the cloth is very dirty, you put it in once, you rinse it once in soap water, and take it out. What happens in one rinsing, the first rinsing? The spots begin to show up more than before. Somewhere, there is some cleanness and neatness, but somewhere, some spots begin to show up more than before. This is due to the contrast. I am also beginning to witness that. Somewhere there is harmony, as nicely reported by the world press, and somewhere there is the visibility of the patches, which are also reported by the world press. That is within the expectation—somewhere here and there.
 
‘This is the good news every day—something nice and some little patches here and there. It does not matter. All these patches, with a few more rinses in the soap, are going to be washed off.
 
‘It is a beautiful picture of the world that is growing. Tell the press and thank the press. They have started to bring out things that are showing some hope for the world as days go by. It is just a few weeks since we have announced. In a few more weeks, we will step onto a level of authority of positivity, coherence, and intensity of rising fulfilment on collective levels and on individual levels.
 
‘It is a very good thing. All the enlightened people from the past years are busy in their small areas. The bulb is lit only in a small area, but the beam goes through quite a long distance. This is what we are witnessing. Dr Hagelin is expounding the deepest realities and deepest levels of creative intelligence of total Natural Law, the will of God, on such practical levels that this could only be happening in the Age of Enlightenment.
 
‘We are hearing, Dr Hagelin, that very soon your friends—the top scientists of the world—are coming to meet you here, there, and everywhere. We are not encouraging the meeting of scientists; we are asking them to avoid travels. It is not the time to encourage travelling. Remain where you are, and with the Internet everyone will be close to every other one. Talk together intimately on one table. It is more important to think together.
 
‘Dr Hagelin has all the values of the most expert, most ideal, most brilliant system of administration, which he has rightly named the Peace Government. All the top scientists have alert intelligence in their own areas. For them to look around on their level is very easy with what Dr Hagelin is going to provide to them. All the scientists are going to join hands in these years—in this year of 2005. The oncoming years are going to be the beautiful product of 2005.
 
‘It is a beautiful development in the technology of governing. Governing was through great dynamic performance, but now Dr Hagelin says that all dynamic performance emerges from deep silence, from the infinite silent ocean of consciousness, the Unified Field. Only, the world press has to reverberate in this understanding of the top scientists that there is a unified level of intelligence which upholds the evolution of every little thing. Every government will adopt that, and the world will be forever governed by that supreme parental role in which only giving is the reality. The parental role of every government is in giving to the population.
 
‘The time is coming for that generous quality of administration in each government. Even though governments are run by man-made constitutions—and man-made constitutions have their own weaknesses and human failings—they will be replaced by a flawless, omnipresent, absolute, harmonious level of intelligence of functioning. That is going to be created with all these groups who are silently lifting up above the force of gravity, the Yogic Flyers.
 
‘The force of gravity is that basic force that maintains the orderly functioning of the galactic universe at all times. This has come to human performance, human being. Yogic Flying is within the performance of human beings. We can talk of Yogic Flying in terms of command and control over the governing power of gravity—the one power of gravity. 

‘It is so beautiful. This is Vedic technology. This is opening our awareness to the technology of Total Knowledge. Vedic technology means the technology of Total Knowledge. “Vedic” means knowledge—Total Knowledge. “Vedic technology” means the technology of Total Knowledge. That means the creation of an action from the field of eternal silence of pure knowledge.
 
‘It is a beautiful gift of God that has materialized in our generation now through the blessings of our Vedic Tradition of Masters. Very beautiful. Make hay when the sun shines. Make hay when the sun shines. Now the world press is alert to water the root of the destiny of all mankind. It is very beautiful—very beautiful. 

‘Thank the press. We continue to listen week after week. There are so many different aspects of our performance to purify world consciousness, and these are developing day by day. The silence of the nights is whispering new formulas every morning. We get new formulas to materialize more and more of the brilliance of the will of God, more and more brilliance of total Natural Law. The path is becoming brighter every day, and on the brighter path, day by day, the speed of achievement is rising. This is great news for the world press.’
