Maharishi: ‘Jai Guru Dev. Dr Hagelin, you deserve all congratulations for all that you have been telling the press for the last four years. Now, today, is the day that it has been four years. And what I want to say is that, after speaking four years about what will happen when the sun rises—this happens and this happens and this happens and this happens—today is not the time to say that “Whenever the sun rises, this will happen, this will happen.” Today we invite the world press, as you have done, Dr Hagelin, to see what has started to happen now that the sun has risen.

‘This is the time of the dawn of a new age—the age of order, peace, affluence, freedom from problems, freedom from sickness, of no more cries to be heard—all that we have been talking about for four years. This is the time today for the world press to see that it is happening. The sun is rising. It is no more a question of when the sun rises, this will happen, and this will happen. No more do we want to quote the scientific research that has verified that when the sun rises, this will happen, and that will happen. It is happening; it is happening today.

‘Today is about the fiftieth or sixtieth day that invincibility has been rising in Holland’s national consciousness. So many good things are happening in the social order of Holland, in the administrative order of Holland, in the administrative tendencies of the government in Holland, in every way in the field of economy, in the field of politics, in the field of order, in the field of religion. In every field, there is positivity growing in Holland’s consciousness. Now it is no more the time for us to say, “This will happen, and this will happen.” It is happening. And then, see it is happening.

‘By about next week, our brilliant Finance Minister will have made a plan so that very soon the quality of world economy will transform itself to be peaceful and fulfilling and integrating to every aspect of national life everywhere. Dr Feldman, our brilliant genius Finance Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, is designing a plan to honor the wealthy people in each country and honor the poor people in each country who are participating in establishing invincibility in their countries.

‘It is a very good day for what Dr Hagelin has been announcing to the people in scientific terms, in social terms, in religious terms, in political terms, in economic terms—in all these different sciences and technologies. Each has its own vocabulary; each has its own language. And in each language, the happening is being recorded; it is being recognized by the people of the world.

‘It is a very great joy for us to see that now it has started to happen. It has started to happen. And invite the press to see what happens week after week, Dr Hagelin—week after week, week after week, week after week. And assure them that your Peace Government is going to be completely fulfilling to every government. No government will be shrouded with problems anymore, because the influence of these Yogic Flyers, through the Vedic Universities which Dr Hagelin has been announcing, is so strong in the intensity of coherence that the transformation will be like the darkness of the night facing the dawn of the rising sun.

‘Dr Hagelin, tell them. It has been four years. It is good—three or four years for the mechanics of transformation. A time bomb. Four years is just nothing in the in the long tradition of millions of years of the world’s life. But now, this is happening, happening, happening.

‘So, ask the world press to rejoice with you. And soon, the Ministry of Raja Maharaja Raja Raam, the Prime Minister, the Health Minister, the Reconstruction Minister, and the President of World Peace—all these great minds of this age—are going to announce to the world press “See, this is happening; see, this is happening; see, this is happening.”

‘It is such a beautiful thing for everyone to see now. And tell them that what they will see is something reliable—something just reliable, dependable, enjoyable. It will take the flow of life from the pangs of suffering to the waves of bliss. And invite the press to experience the bliss. And ask our Prime Minister and Chief of Education to explain to them what this experience of bliss means [laughter]. It is an experience which everyone is going to have now.

‘All the glory to Guru Dev. Glory to the tradition of Vedic Masters, the seat of Total Natural Law, the feet of the total Light of God, the feet of the Constitution of the Universe. It is a beautiful opening for mankind—for the destiny of mankind—in all directions now.

‘So ask the world press to enjoy. Sometimes people see, and they have to be told what they are seeing. And your words, Dr Hagelin, come from the field of science and technology, from both values—the physical and the basis of all physical, the field of consciousness. So give the joy to the people, who are just beginning to see. And explain to them what they are seeing [laughter]. Jai Guru Dev.’
