Opening Remarks

Maharishi: ‘Jai Guru Dev. Today’s introductory remarks by Dr Hagelin are enough until the new generation of mankind has been created. This one lecture is completely enough to tell the story from beginning to end.
 
‘Dr Hagelin, the world can only congratulate you for this exposition of truth, from the field of Total Knowledge to the application of Total Knowledge in the daily life of everyone. So without saying anything more, I would recommend to the world to listen to you anytime they want to listen to anything which will take them on the direct path to the realization of the total reality in their life.
 
‘I would like the Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace to reflect on Dr Hagelin’s introductory remarks today and satisfy the press for all times. Ask the press if there are any questions. After hearing Dr Hagelin, there should be no questions to be asked, but even if there are questions, they can be asked very simply.
 
‘I would ask Dr Morris to tell the press that the plans and programmes for a very quick transformation of the world on a beautiful level of peace, harmony, and happiness are being worked out. It will be very soon. It will be very soon that the world will have sunshine on a perpetual basis on all levels of life.
 
‘Dr Hagelin, invite the press or invite the Prime Minister to describe all his plans. It is only a matter of how many days more, that is all—how many days more, how many steps more. 

‘A very fortunate time for the world press is coming. They will not have negative things to report anymore. Invite the press if they want to know more. If there is anything more to know, Dr Morris will satisfy them.’

Dr Morris: ‘Jai Guru Dev. This past week has seen an extraordinary performance of the Vedic Coronation of eight new Rajas of the Global Country of World Peace. This took place on the highest point of Holland, in Vaals. It was presided over by His Majesty Maharaja Nader Raam, the First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, who was weighed in gold for his discovery that physiology is consciousness and that every individual is a cosmic individual.

‘The Total Knowledge that administers the whole universe is present in every grain of human physiology, along with all the supreme intelligences of creation (the Devatas), the embodiments of Totality (the Avatars), and the whole universe itself. This discovery of the magnitude of human physiology by Maharaja Nader Raam in his scientific research has made it clear to this age that every human being in this world is the field of all possibilities, and that every nation on earth can most certainly rise to invincibility if the cosmic potential of their citizens is fully awakened. 

‘For the past several months, eight fortunate individuals from around the world have been undergoing very deep training by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to establish themselves in the field which is called Raja Consciousness—Raja Rajate—the establishment in the Being, in the Self, of these eight fortunate individuals. They have risen so high in the development of their consciousness that their consciousness became a fertile field for the performance of the final step in their rising to this status called a Raja of the Global Country of World Peace.

‘That final status comes about through the application of Vedic Sounds, or Vedic Mantras, by the Vedic Pandits in India. In the Veda and Vedic Literature, there are specific Vedic Sounds, or Vedic Mantras, which are prescribed for the coronation of kings, for the coronation of Rajas. Through the eternal history of the human race, those very same Vedic Sounds have been used, have been applied, to those who were to go from ordinary individual consciousness to the level of Raja Consciousness, so that they could be the effective rulers, the effective leaders, of their population. This is the process that these Rajas went through for a whole week, every day for several hours hearing these extraordinary Vedic Sounds, Vedic Mantras, of coronation.
 
‘Those Vedic Sounds, or Vedic Mantras, are not ordinary sounds. They are the sounds of the transcendental field of existence. They are the sounds in which the infinite silence of the transcendental field that is the unbounded ocean of everything in creation, is always vibrating, humming within itself, interacting within itself in the form of sound, Vedic Sound. Those sounds are the sounds of infinity and a point interacting with each other in the infinite field of consciousness. They are the sounds which are the sounds of total Natural Law, the sounds which are the basis of every law of nature, of every particle of matter, of everything in creation. Those are the sounds of Total Knowledge, of total Natural Law, the sounds of the omniscient and omnipresent Will of God which gives rise to the whole creation and administers the whole galactic universe with perfect order. 

‘Through these Vedic Sounds, tremendous transformation takes place. A Raja rises to the state of Raja Consciousness, where total Natural Law, the administrator of the universe, has been installed into his brain physiology, installed into the transcendental life of the individual. Then they reach the point where the thought that they think is completely supported by the evolutionary power that administers the ever-expanding galactic universe.
 
‘These eight individuals were finally crowned as Rajas in an incredibly blissful and beautiful ceremony last Sunday by His Majesty Maharaja Nader Raam. It was evident to all how completely transformed they had been just through those seven days and especially culminating in that last day. A completely new reality of their consciousness and rulership had been created through their Raja Training Course and then through their experience of the Constitution of the Universe, the Veda, total Natural Law, being performed for them to awaken their Rajaship. This was a grand moment.

‘Now there are twenty-two such extraordinary individuals in the world. Previously there were fourteen, who were crowned last February. Now there are eight more, so there are twenty-two Rajas. The world is very fortunate to have such extraordinary leaders who have been trained and then crowned for this leadership in the Vishva Shanti Rashtra, the Global Country of World Peace.
 
‘I mention this not only because it is the great news of the week—since the last press conference, this has been completed—but because the presence of the Rajas together has triggered in His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi an entirely new level of thinking about the world. Somehow, the deserving ability of the world has risen, and new doors have opened since these eight new Rajas were crowned on Sunday. There are now twelve Rajas of the Global Country of World Peace meeting here every day with Maharishi. Very soon, the other ten Rajas, who are spread around the world working in the different domains of their activity and responsibility, dedicated to raising their area of the world to Heaven on Earth are all going to come together.
 
‘Within a few days, all the twenty-two Rajas will be seated here in Meru in Holland, along with the Global Ministers of the Global Country of World Peace. Maharishi has invited the Prime Ministers and Ministers of the Global Country of World Peace and all the Governors of the Age of Enlightenment teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme around the world. If they could come, they could join in one grand global celebration that will take place a week from tomorrow on the full moon day. That day is called Guru Purnima.
 
‘Guru Purnima is that one very special full moon in the year. Each full moon has its own character, but this full moon is the one special full moon when the greatness, the fullness, of the masters of the Vedic Tradition is celebrated, and particularly the greatness of Maharishi’s own master, His Divinity Brahmananda Saraswati, from whom all the blessings of knowledge that Maharishi has been giving for fifty years have flown to the world.

‘The special character of this Guru Purnima is going to be quite different than all the other glorious Guru Purnimas—the day of the Guru, the day of the Vedic Masters—that have passed since Maharishi began to teach in 1955. This is because Maharishi has publicly declared, including during the press conferences, that on this Guru Purnima he is going to actually welcome Satya Yuga. “Yuga” is an age, and “Sat” is that field of Being, the field of supreme purity and spirituality. So Satya Yuga is just the Golden Age of human life.  

‘Maharishi said the other day, when the new Rajas were being crowned at the Vedic Coronation, “This age may be called Kali Yuga. They can call it that if they like, but in fact, what is going to happen now—whatever people say this age is—is that the Golden Age of Satya Yuga is going to dawn for the human race.”
 
‘Maharishi defined this as the rule of Raam, which is Brahm. There is an expression “Raam Brahm Paramarath Rupa”. It means that the rule of Raam is the rule of Brahm. The rule of Brahm is just the totality of infinite silence and infinite dynamism altogether in one grand unity. When that Totality, which is just the creator and governor of the ever-expanding universe, begins to be the administrator of life on our little planet, it is called Raam Raj. That is the Golden Age. The administration of the totality of all the intelligence of creation that can run billions of galaxies, even countless universes at the same moment, that enormous energy and intelligence beginning to administer the life of nations and bringing the life of individuals to fulfilment is called Raam Raj. Raam Raj is the administration of Raam, which is Brahm—Totality.’
