Opening Remarks

Maharishi: ‘Jai Guru Dev. I have to say to the world press that all these past weeks I have been saying, “Watch and wait to report.” Now, watch and report what you see, what you see in the world wind—a whisper of the eternal song of the administration of the universe.

‘Freedom, peace, prosperity, invincibility—these are the qualities being produced in the units of world peace, in the units of the administration of the universe. The units of the administration of the universe are in every nation, in every country. Now, the world press has to see and report what you see.

‘Our days of speaking are soon coming to an end. Of course, we will continue to speak, but that speech will be the talk of freedom, the talk of sovereignty, the talk of invincibility. It is a great joy that this message, the flag, is being hoisted by the great, successful scientist of this scientific age, Dr Hagelin.

‘Dr Hagelin, you have informed them that you are bringing the abstract, unmanifest totality of Natural Law, which governs the universe with perfect order, to its concrete, materialized value. The Constitution of the Universe now is being ingrained on the material value of life. You are building the World Peace Capital. You have built the Capital of World Peace in the land of the Veda in India, and you are building the Capital of World Peace in the scientific capital of the world, the United States of America.

‘This is the song of life, the eternal song of life. It is a beautiful transformation of the world for the press to report. Dr Hagelin, invite the most fortunate world press of today, in the year 2006, to report the transformation of this troubled world into a very peaceful, dignified, enormously independent, and coherent world. Such is the world of this afternoon and of tomorrow and every tomorrow that is to come.

‘The world press will forever be obligated to express its regard and appreciation of the achievement of Dr Hagelin, the realization of the Constitution of the Universe in a building—in the brick and mortar—of the Global Capital of World Peace. From there Dr Hagelin is ruling the world in peace eternal. All the scientists of his time have started to gather around him. They have a lighted lamp now. They have been researching what the materialization is of that abstract, unmanifest totality of Natural Law, which has been ruling the world. Now it will rule the world from the very concretely expressed Constitution of the Universe.

‘It is such a joy to say. I could go on and on, but now should be the time for me to let the world press see and report what they see. Dr Hagelin, invite them to see. It is a very good thing. Let the Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace express his delight in this concrete vision of the descent of the Constitution of the Universe on our land. One place, the country of science, is exhibiting the display of the Constitution of the Universe on the level of concrete coherence in the world—permanent world peace. For all time the world press will be singing the song of invincibility that Dr Hagelin is declaring from the level of the authority as a President of the Peace Government of the world.

‘All glory to Guru Dev. The world press has the red carpet to enjoy their profession. They have been suffering a lot, reporting all these dirty things. But now is the time to have a singsong of that abstract reality, which is becoming so concrete for everyone, for all the future of our world family.

‘All glory to those who are enjoying participation in the creation of perfect order and fulfilment of the administration of Natural Law for all mankind now. All glory to the dawning Heaven on Earth. Jai Guru Dev.

‘Dr Hagelin, wish the world press long life to report these things. Wish the world press a healthy time for reporting all good news. Let our Prime Minister reflect on the blessings of the world press. Jai Guru Dev.’

Dr Hagelin: ‘Jai Guru Dev, Maharishi. Thank you for those beautiful, inspiring remarks to the global press. It is indeed a precious time simply to be alive and witness the inevitable transformation of the world—a transformation that has clearly begun, according to the changing trends throughout the world. It is a complete transformation that is inevitable on the ground of science—scientifically proven principles and scientifically proven, empirically demonstrated technologies that apply the fundamental principles of peace, principles of unity, and principles of harmony that are radiating now across the world and transforming it.

‘It is a precious time to be alive, and particularly, to be a member of the press, the chroniclers of our time, and to be able to chronicle the transformation. As Maharishi said, “Be alert, be awake, and report what you see.” The news that is coming out, as we have shared a taste of today, is truly inspiring. What a time to be a member of the press to record this critical point in the history of humankind, when the world is really now leaving behind its endless and shameful legacy of violence, problems, strife, and war, and is opening a whole new door, a whole new destiny for humankind of positivity, unity, harmony, and peace.

‘I would like to introduce His Excellency Dr Bevan Morris after a few remarks on what Maharishi has just said about the structure of the government that is being established in this World Capital of Peace. Maharishi made an extraordinary comment that the abstract structure of Nature's eternal government is being rendered concrete today in the very structure of the US Peace Government and the Global Peace Government, even in the structure of the capital buildings of that Peace Government.

‘Yes, the Government of Nature has a structure. The eternal laws governing the evolution of the entire cosmos have a completely unified reality, and within the unity of the Unified Field is the flow of unity within itself. That flow of unity within itself is the eternal dynamics of consciousness knowing itself, consciousness awakening to and fathoming its own eternal nature, the Unified Field eternally interacting with itself.

‘Those fundamental principles, the self-interacting dynamics of unity at the basis of all the diversified laws of nature, this foundational level of Natural Law is the Constitution of the Universe. This flow of unity within itself has a definite structure open to direct human experience and has been confirmed throughout the long corridor of time, throughout the long ages of human experience. It is inscribed in particular in the Vedic Tradition of knowledge, which is the most ancient and highly developed tradition of knowledge and experience in the world, the source of all the great meditative traditions of our world, and in particular the source of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and its advanced techniques, the TM-Sidhi Programme and Yogic Flying.

‘All these technologies for the direct experience of reality have their eternal source in the ancient Vedic Tradition. Throughout this long tradition of time and particularly now in this scientific age, when these powerful technologies of direct experience have been enlivened in such a scientific, systematic way, and practiced by millions of people across the world, we have the wide open gate to experience and explore the ultimate reality of consciousness—to experience the Unified Field and its eternal, self-interacting dynamics in the state of Pure Consciousness.

‘This flow of unity within itself has a structure—a three-in-one structure of knower, knowing, and known. Within this three-in-one structure are eight qualities of flow, the so-called eight divided Prakriti. These eight times three equals twenty-four fundamental sounds of the Veda are inscribed in the first Richa of the first Sukta of the Rik Veda, which is the record of the eternal dynamics of Nature's Government. The very concrete flow of sound and silence is the mathematical structure known as Veda, the Rik Veda, the Constitution of the Universe, indeed the blueprint of the universe. All the Vedic Literature, as well as the human physiology, and the concrete universe around us emerges sequentially from the one universal, unified reality of Veda with its own eternal, internal structure.

‘This blueprint, this structure of Nature's Government at the foundational level of the Constitution of the Universe, is corroborated by modern physics, modern mathematics, and in fact, by all the modern scientific disciplines. In these past ten to twenty-five years, they have all achieved that degree of exploration of Natural Law where they have discovered the field of unity at the basis of the diversity of their disciplines.

‘Modern mathematics, for example, studies the flow of unity and the various qualities of dynamism intrinsic to that eternal flow. This is called the mathematics of Lee Groups, which studies unitary transformation, the flow within the silence of unity. In that fundamental flow, three qualities are considered to be most fundamental. This is the three-in-one structure of the three-by-three unitary unimodular Lee Groups. Within that three-in-one structure, eight qualities of dynamism—eight flows—are possible, and so forth. The Vedic structure of the Constitution of the Universe is revealed by the mathematical study of unitary groups and unitary flows within silence.

‘Modern physics, in the meantime, has discovered the Unified Field, in the context of the Heterotic Superstring Theory—the truly successful unification of Einstein's General Relativity with Quantum Mechanics—to lead to one unified theory of everything. It describes the structure of unity and the sequential mechanics from which unity gives rise sequentially to the increasingly diversified structure of the laws governing the universe.

‘In the context of the Superstring Unified Field Theories of modern physics, unity has a structure. The flow of unity within itself has a fundamental three-in-one structure of Hilbert Space, Operators, and States. This three-in-one structure structures eight qualities of dynamism, which are the so-called vibrational degrees of freedom of the clockwise modes of vibration of the string, leading to a twenty-four-fold structure—the so-called vibrational degrees of freedom of the counterclockwise modes of vibration of the string. And then the 64 and 192 structure of the Constitution of the Universe sequentially unfolds through the process of dynamical symmetry breaking in exact accord with the eternal record of Total Knowledge revived from the ancient Veda in this scientific age as the structure of Rig Veda and all the Vedic Literature.

‘The structure of Nature's Government is absolutely set, and rigorously so, from the standpoint of the eternal science of consciousness and the modern mathematical and empirical sciences. Now that we understand the mechanics and structure of the eternal Government of Nature, we have a guiding light, a guidepost, for the governance of man. Every government now can enjoy the same flawless effectiveness and efficiency of Nature's own government that eternally governs the vast, ever-expanding universe with trillions of galaxies without a problem and always with maximum efficiency and economy. This same perfection in administration, problem-free administration, can become the nature of human governments when they adopt the Constitution of the Universe as their constitution and govern through Natural Law—govern through programmes that spontaneously raise the behaviour of the people to be in accord with Natural Law.

‘Now that we know the eternal, flawless, immortal structure of Nature's eternal government, we are building the Capital of the Peace Government. We are building it not in some haphazard way inspired by some human architect of the present or times past, but inspired directly from the cosmic architect and built upon the principles of Nature's Government, reflecting the structure of Nature's Government.

‘The layout of the governing buildings of this Peace Government at the World Capital of Peace here in the Brahmasthan of America precisely mirror the eternal structure of Nature's Government, the Constitution of the Universe, in the form of brick and mortar. In this way, these abstract principles of the Constitution of the Universe, which may actually sound rather abstract when you first hear about them, become more and more concrete with regular experience. These abstract principles governing the universe are being rendered concrete today, literally concrete, in the concrete buildings that are forming the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace and its Peace Government today.

‘Right here in the Brahmasthan of America, in the heart of America, in Washington Township in Smith County, Kansas, a new capital of the country is being built straightaway, within the next one to several weeks. This new government of the country will be in this precious point of peace for the country, the Brahmasthan, which is a very strategic spot, the still point of power, from which the whole country's collective consciousness can be easily and effectively governed. That in itself is a great power. Added to this will be the power of a Capital laid out according to Vastu Vidya, the Vedic Science of building in harmony with Natural Law raised to its pinnacle, where the actual location, orientation, and relationship of all the buildings precisely mirror the eternal structure of Nature's Government.

‘The abstract Constitution of the Universe that rules the universe is being erected today in concrete form for everyone to see. Any passerby, traveling east or west along Route 80 or Route 70, the major left-right arteries of our country, will be able to swing over and see the concrete realization of the Constitution of the Universe at the nation's new capital in the heart of America . This Capital of Peace will silently govern the country by raising the country to be beyond reproach, beyond problems by raising the collective consciousness of the country so that everyone thinks and acts in harmony with Natural Law for freedom from mistakes and the problems born of mistakes.

‘Quietly, from here we will, in fact, govern the country more effectively than the Washington, DC, government, which so far has lacked the knowledge of how to govern. The nation and its government are truly governed by the collective consciousness of the people. The Peace Government of the Global Country of World Peace has those Vedic Technologies to easily raise the collective consciousness of the country to be a mistake-free, problem-free, invincible government.

‘The true government of the country is not the noisy government in Washington, DC, which is all involved with the redistribution, collection, and spending of money. The more fundamental approach to government—the more powerful approach to government—is to govern through raising the consciousness of the people, so that the people are mistake-free, problem-free, spontaneously healthy, law-abiding, life-promoting citizens. That will change the country.

‘That is happening now from this World Capital of Peace in the Brahmasthan of America, where the buildings themselves are a concrete expression of the eternal, flawless government of the universe, the Constitution of the Universe, or Veda. In these concrete buildings, peace-promoting groups of Yogic Flyers—a true government of peace—will truly govern the country in peace and invincibility.

‘It is a great blessing Maharishi has brought to the world—creating a new government for every country! The government of peace will not compete with the existing governments, but will quietly ensure that the existing governments fulfil their parental role and truly bless the nations with peace, national security, and invincibility. This is being accomplished now so quickly and so easily in a capital truly worthy of that exalted role, a capital fashioned after the cosmic architecture, a capital that reflects the eternal Government of Nature, a true Vedic Capital for the world.’
